 | | COURSE STABILISATION SYSTEM
| Loads from waves, current and wind cause high-speed vessels to experience undesirable course variations. The traditional Fjellstrand Motion Dampening System (MDS) has therefore been further developed to include a Course Stabilisation System (CSS). The CSS assists the vessel's existing Rudder/Autopilot system and stabilises the course to gain speed and comfort. This has positive influence on the fuel-economy. The CSS is fitted to the vessel's transom and works in the same way as the trim interceptor. When the vessel is approaching harbour the CSS is turned off. | | | | |
