High-speed vessels are very sensitive to trim variations. By controlling the vessels trim angle, improvements in fuel economy can be achieved. Fjellstrand has therefore developed a trim interceptor system that efficiently optimises the vessel's trim and heel angle at speed.

The trim interceptors can be fitted as a passive, adjustable system from the wheelhouse, or as a part of the Fjellstrand Motion Dampening System (MDS). It can additionally be integrated to existing vessels.

The trim interceptor is fitted to the vessel's transom.
